These can be in real life *or* online. I played MMORPGs for years and always loved the community of getting together with a group of people and just chilling while playing games. But I'm finding it hard to have that same kind of experience now that I and my friends have all gotten older and stopped playing those games. We haven't stopped *gaming* per se, but we're not all playing the same game anymore. At this point, I'm looking to find a new community activity whether that's in real life or online. I just want that sense of belonging again. I feel like the obligatory real life community activity is adult sports. While I'm interested in fitness, I'm more interested in an activity that lets us talk more (kind of like grinding on an MMORPG) and doesn't require going out for a drink just to spend more time together after the activity is over. Anyone have any ideas?
